When you are going from one task to another it’s usually because you feel overwhelmed by everything that you have to do.

People force themselves to do the majority of the things that they don’t want to do because they feel like they have to. 

Why do they feel like they have to?

Because they “THINK” they cannot afford to pay someone else to do it for them or to teach them how to get it done in a 1/4 of the time. 

Having too many “to do” items on your list will also cause you to quit doing anything all together and throw in the towel on all that needs to get done.

So whether you are overwhelmed and bouncing or overwhelmed and doing nothing, you still aren’t getting things done, right?

The real question is, if you are continually putting those things off that you don’t want to do, what is it costing you?

  • Emotionally
  • Physically
  • Financially

When you procrastinate, it means you aren’t getting stuff done and if you are getting stuff done it will end up costing you money.

Whether it’s phone calls, laundry, doing the dishes, running your errands, paying bills, cleaning the house etc.

So how could those things be costing you money?

Any habits that you form to put things off like not paying bills could end up costing you late fees, not doing the laundry timely could mean you have to buy more clothes, a dirty house=mind clutter, not getting your errands done may mean eating out more, late deliveries for customers & not making phone calls may mean no new customers…You get the point right?

Your income and quality of life could be exponentially improved, by making new routines that makes sure all of this get done.

Is this true for you?

Do you love what you are doing so much (when you are putting off what you should be doing) that you should be doing that for a living?

The more and more that you put things off, you will start to notice that you burnout faster, you’re irritable, you don’t have as much spunk as you used to etc.

At first you may not see many or any of these side effects. That’s because they compound over time like when you feel like overnight you gained 50lbs. It’s because you weren’t paying attention and just let your eating and exercise take on a mind of its own.

That doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a compound of the same things done for a prolonged amount of time.

There’s no reason for you to cause yourself un-needed stress by putting things off and making the things you have to get done, pile up.

It’s definitely something to consider because you deserve to be fulfilled, happy and living the life of your dreams. Only you can make the move to make that happen for yourself though.

Tips to Kick your Procrastination:

  • Hire someone to do the things that you procrastinate doing because you don’t want to do them or you feel you don’t have time.  
  • Give lots of serious thought to doing for a living what you do while you are procrastinating
  • Ask for help around the house, around the office, in your business, that’s what others are there for.

Remember, if it BURNS you out, HIRE it out!  No excuse is good enough, even if you think it is!
